Family Name: Fabaceae (Leguminosae) - Pea or Bean Family

Identification Notes:

life cycle - perennial, reproducing by seed and creeping stems

stems - prostate, hairless or sparely haired, branched at base, rooting at nodes growth habit

leaves - compound, long petioles, 3 leaflets; leaflets obovate, from same point, margins slightly toothed, pale green to white "v" or semi-circle marking near base leaves

flowers - white; heads spherical, long stalked flower heads
