Identification Notes:

life cycle - perennial, reproducing by seed

stems - upright, pubescent, bulb-like swelling at base growth habit 1, growth habit 2, growth habit 3

leaves - alternate, palmately divided in 3 segments - apical stalked, pubescent, long petioles below, sessile above, basal from bulb-like base leaves

flowers - 5-petaled, golden yellow, glossy, sepals pointed downward flowers 1, flowers 2, flowers 3, sepals 1, sepals 2
