Identification Notes:

life cycle - biennial, reproducing for seed

stems - upright, very tall, stout, grooved growth habit 1, growth habit 2

leaves - pinnately compound, leaflets 5 to 15; leaflets toothed and variably lobed leaves 1, leaves 2

flowers - 5-petaled, yellow, small; flat-topped compound umbels, large flowers 1, flowers 2

other - thick taproot
