Identification Notes:

life cycle - summer or winter annual, reproducing by seed

stems - upright, smooth, hairless, branched growth habit 1, growth habit 2

leaves - alternate, finely dissected, hairless leaves

flowers - greenish-yellow disk (tubulate) florets; terminal cone-shaped heads, solitary or numerous per stem; ray (ligulate) florets absent flowers

other - pineapple-like scent when bruised or crushed
