Identification Notes:

life cycle - annual, reproducing by seed

stems - smooth, branched, tall, translucent, watery when broken

leaves - ovate or elliptic, thin, hairless, toothed margins, lower opposite, upper alternate, water beads on surface

flowers - pale yellow, funnel-shaped, brown spots in throat only, curved spur at funnel point; axillary clusters, 2-4 flowered flowers

seedpods - capsules, dehiscent when mature
