Identification Notes:

life cycle - annual, reproducing by seed

stems - upright, smooth, branched, tall, translucent, watery when broken growth habit 1, growth habit 2, seedlings 1, seedlings 2

leaves - ovate or elliptic, thin, hairless, toothed margins, lower opposite, upper alternate, water beads on surface

flowers - orange-yellow, funnel-shaped, mottled with reddish brown spot inside and outside, curved spur at funnel point, 2-4 flowered axillary clusters flowers

seedpods - capsules, dehiscent when mature
