Identification Notes:

life cycle - perennial, reproducing by seed and rhizomes

stems - sprawling over ground or other vegetation growth habit

leaves - alternate, stipules, pinnately compound; leaflets oval, 9 to 25, bristle tipped leaves

flowers - pea-like flowers, usually bi-colored - pink and white; clustered on long-stalked umbels; axillary flowers

seedpods - cylindrical, long and thin, 3-14 segments
