Scientific Name: Chenopodium ambrosioides L.
Family Name: Chenopodiaceae - Goosefoot Family

Identification Notes:

life cycle – annual or sometimes weak perennial, reproducing by seed

stems – upright, tall, branches ascending, green, smooth or with minute hairs growth habit 1, growth habit 2

leaves – alternate, short-stalked, oblong-oval to lanceolate, margins entire to strongly waved or deeply lobed, minute yellow glands, reduced above, strong unpleasant odor leaves 1, leaves 2

flowers - 5-sepaled, petals absent, greenish, small, densely clustered compound spike, long and slender; terminal and axillary flowers
