Identification Notes:

life cycle - introduced annual, reproducing by seeds

stems - upright, hairless, branched; often appear reddish-purple, red or light green striated, conspicuous grooves growth habit, stems, seedling 1, seedling 2, young plant 1, young plant 2

leaves - alternate, triangular, toothed, mealy white coating (especially below) leaves, seedlings 1, seedlings 2

flowers - green, small, no petals absent; clusters form axillary panicles flowers
