Identification Notes:

life cycle - perennial, reproducing by seed and creeping stems

stems - hairy, rooting at the nodes, mat forming

leaves - opposite, oval, dark green, very hairy, sessile leaves

flowers - 5-petaled, white, petals notched deeply (may appear to be 10); terminal clusters flowers
