Identification Notes:

life cycle - annual, biennial or short-lived perennial, reproducing by seed

stems - upright or ascending, grayish-green, fine white hairs, branched near base and near top growth habit 1, growth habit 2, growth habit 3

leaves - alternate, lanceolate or oblong, sessile or short petioled, entire, fine white hairs leaves

flowers - 4-petaled, white, petals deeply notched; densely clustered terminal racemes at flowering, elongating after flowering and during pod formation flowers

seedpods - oblong, hairy, beaked at tip seedpods
