Family Name: Brassicaceae (Cruciferae) - Mustard Family

Identification Notes:

life cycle - biennial, reproducing by seed

stems - second year, reproductive, upright growth habit 1, growth habit 2

leaves - first-year kidney-shaped, rosette; second year triangular on upright reproductive stems stem; all coarsely toothed rosette leaves 1, rosette leaves 2, stem leaves, seedlings

flowers - 4-petaled, white; terminal racemes flowers

seedpods - silique, long, narrow seedpods 1, seedpods 2

other - garlic-like scent when bruised or crushed
