Identification Notes:

life cycle - perennial, reproducing by seed and rhizomes

stems - upright, branching, hairy growth habit

leaves - alternate, lanceloate, divided (2 to 4 times pinnatified), hairy, lacy appearance leaves

flowers - heads of white ray (ligulate) and yellow disk (tubulate) florets; clusters terminal, nearly flat-topped flower heads 1, flower heads 2
