Identification Notes:

stems - upright, velvety pubescent hairs, usually unbranched growth habit 1, growth habit 2

leaves - alternate, large, heart-shaped leaves, toothed margins, velvety pubescent hairs leaves

flowers - 5-petaled, yellow; axillary flowers, axillary

seed pods - cup-shaped, "wedges", upper edge prickled immature seedpod, mature seedpods
